This is April. I had the good fortune to spend a few evenings with her this past month while her owner and I offered up the class Let Go and Get Centered, an equine coaching and reiki meditation combo session to a group of people. We started with a reiki meditation in the open pasture and then interacted with April and a few other horses.
The surprising thing to me was how the horses interacted with the people. We were sitting in a half circle and April every time went straight for the person who needed either physical or emotional healing. She would cozy on up and cuddle them. I find it so awesome how animals just know. April is so sweet and the ladies that she went to were not all horse experts. She didn't care, she just walked right up and put her head on them. I am slightly nervous around horses after having one run off on me so it took me awhile to get used to these beautiful creatures. I am taking my time and they are letting me. I'll get to the point of feeling comfortable. I love though that they are letting me take that space. These horses are through a place called A Path 2 Transformation.
